This grant is open to all our members who wish to conduct research either formally through an educational facility or keepers wanting to conduct in-house research to support their day-to-day work.

The research grant could be used to provide:

• Tools for data collection - camera traps, binoculars, scales, etc.

• Software packages - Zootrition, ZIMs, data collection packages, etc

• Travel expenses to allow research to be conducted at alternate locations.

• Research subjects – Enrichment devices, UV lamps etc.

• Any other research - related expenses

The ABWAK Research grant is available once a year and is up to the value of £250, and is offered via an application process to our associate and professional members, who have been members for over six months. Applications will be assessed and graded impartially by our grants committee.   All grant applications must be received by either 31st May and will take up to 1 month to process.  ABWAK will notify the applicant shortly after that.

Applicants must show via the following application form that the financial support offered by ABWAK will aid in as many ways possible, and we ask you to display this within your application. Please fill in all the application form with as much information as you feel appropriate.
